Vault is built with a "Local First" philosophy. We believe that your data belongs to you and your device, and our application is designed to ensure that we never have access to your personal information, files, or cryptographic keys.

2. Zero Data Collection

Vault does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Your files or "treasures(encrypted files)"
• Your private keys or master passwords
• Your location data
• Your device information
• Usage analytics or tracking data

3. Local Storage & Encryption

All data processed by Vault is stored locally on your device. We use industry-standard AES-GCM encryption, ECDH key exchange, SHA-256 hash function and P-256 elliptic curve to secure your files. Since encryption happens entirely on your device, no unencrypted data ever leaves your control.

4. Third-Party Services

Vault does not share data with third-party services. The application operates entirely offline for its core functionality.

5. Data Retention

Since we do not collect your data, we do not retain it. If you delete the Vault application from your device, all locally stored data and keys are permanently removed unless you have manually exported a backup.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
